Amazon-Quick-Commerce
Amazon India has launched its 10-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, in select pin codes of New Delhi marking its second city after Bengaluru. The move comes as urban consumers increasingly opt for faster delivery options, fueling the rise of quick commerce platforms.
The company first rolled out Amazon Now in Bengaluru this February. With encouraging early traction, especially among Prime members, Amazon says it is closely monitoring consumer feedback and plans to expand the service over the coming months.
“Amazon has always focused on offering customers a wide selection with convenient and fast delivery,” an Amazon spokesperson said. “We are running our 10-minute delivery service in select pin codes of Bengaluru and Delhi, and are excited by the initial customer response.”
With this expansion, Amazon is positioning itself more aggressively in the quick commerce space, taking on established players including Blinkit, Instamart, and Zepto, all of whom are competing to dominate the ultra-fast delivery segment.
“Through Amazon Now, we offer a curated selection of everyday essentials delivered within minutes, addressing immediate customer needs while maintaining Amazon's standards for safety, quality and reliability,” the spokesperson added.
