Mount Everest Breweries Names Vinod Babu G as Chief Executive Officer

Vinod Babu G, who comes with over 19 years of experience in the FMCG and alcoholic beverages sector, will lead MEBL’s overall business operations and growth agenda.

Mount Everest Breweries Ltd. (MEBL) has appointed Vinod Babu G as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the company said in a press statement.

Vinod Babu G, who comes with over 19 years of experience in the FMCG and alcoholic beverages sector, will lead MEBL’s overall business operations and growth agenda.

The company said Vinod Babu G is known for his sharp commercial acumen and deep understanding of premium consumer segments.

In his previously held leadership positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev India and SABMiller India, he led key brand launches, market expansions, and built high-performing teams across regions.

“Vinod’s proven leadership, strategic vision, and deep understanding of the evolving beer landscape in India and beyond make him the perfect fit to guide MEBL’s next phase of growth. In his previous career experience at AB InBev’s, Vinod led one of the company’s most successful regions in South India & Goa. He has been a two-time recipient of the prestigious BUP Fanatic Award, said the company.

Mount Everest Breweries Ltd. (MEBL) on the other hand is backed by the Associated Kedia Group. It houses homegrown brands including STOK, Lemount, Mount’s 6000.

MEBL enjoys a stronghold in central India and it is expanding its national footprint.
